Review

An intense and suspenseful short about a woman who finds herself stuck with a terrifying choice as a tornado touches down in her neighborhood. Can’t say much without spoiling the story, but it ticked a lot of the right boxes and I raced to finish. A solid debut and an easy story to knock out in one sitting.

Quote

“Three feet from the shelter door, Watney refuses to move another inch. He utters a low, rumbling growl that I feel through the leash more than hear it over the drone of the wind.”
