Synopsis:
Who would’ve thought a game of truth or dare could turn so sinister?
Thomas has it all. A trust fund, a loving girlfriend, and a group of friends he would do anything for. But, when an alcohol-fueled game takes a bloody turn, he has to reconcile who he was with what he is becoming—and who's along for the deliciously gruesome ride.

The Considerate Cannibal is a quirky little horror comedy about cannibals, but not the violent bloodthirsty killers often seen in horror fiction. Thomas is just a normal guy until a game of truth or dare turns… Awkward. His story from there is zany and fun, it’s an easy story to speed through in one sitting.
Although the prose was a bit basic and I cringed a bit, I became properly invested in Thomas’ total lack of self-awareness, and I laughed out loud at the end of the story. I was a little disappointed that the story ended so abruptly without any kind of resolution beyond an afterword stating there would be a sequel. Despite that, it’s a solid first story, and I will definitely be on the lookout for the sequel.

“Cannibalism? Right here at his family’s vacation home?”
