Review

I think we forget sometimes how scary the internet can be. Eleven is a short story about a woman grieving the loss of her girlfriend and driven to dire straits. Desperate, she turns to an internet “game” for a chance to be reunited with her lover. This was a fast and tense story and I really enjoyed the concept of an urban legend spread through online message boards.

This story was available for free through the author’s newsletter, and I think it’s a good taster for the author’s work. I’m keenly interested in reading more of Briana Morgan’s work.

“Maybe this game was going to be even easier than she thought.”
