Mon Amour is a bite-sized novella told through a series of text. As the conversation progresses and more is revealed about the main characters, a mystery unravels to reveal a fascinating ending.
Having grown up on the world wide web of the 90s, meeting boyfriends and long time friends via web forums and instant messenger, I appreciated the concept of this story and the way that it was executed. I did find the conversation cringey at times, but we all were cringey back then. This is an easy book to consume in a single sitting, and I came to appreciate it after reading it twice.
