Synopsis:

In the town of Tall Oak, high school football reigns supreme. Led by star Quarterback Justin Jackson, the players walk the halls of their school like gods, but a sinister side lies behind their "Golden Boy" facade. Despite their best efforts, their atrocities will come to life.

Every year, the star players take a retreat to an isolated cabin in the woods for a week of debauchery. This drug-fueled party is intended to be their final send-off before college.

This time, it will be different.

This time, they've pushed their victims too far.

Trapped in an isolated cabin, they will finally know what it means to be the victim.

Review

Seven Rabbits is a mean book. A brutal revenge story that hits back at the ‘boys will be boys’ excuse for letting rich boys get away with abuse and the systems that fail victims. There is so much rage and frustration in this book.

One of my favorite aspects of the story was that it dared to ask the reader big questions about how much is too much. It’s easy to get angry and raise pitchforks after hearing stories of outrageous crimes, cheering for justice and cruel punishment. But even as a survivor, I found myself absolutely horrified thinking, “Not like this!” This book made me gasp, it made me upset, and it made me think about my views on vigilante justice.

This was truly a polished debut novel and a near-perfect revenge story. Timothy King will definitely be an author to watch out for; I was thoroughly impressed with this debut.
