A short supernatural horror story of female rage that packs a strong message in just a few pages. The Delicate Sound of Rage follows a woman teetering on the edge of a full-blown meltdown and man did I feel that anger. I’ve had my days (haven’t we all) where I was so stressed out that I just needed to walk away and disassociate for a while to spare myself and the people I love. I couldn’t help but smile about how relatable I found this story to be, it was a fun palette cleanser and I’m excited to check out more stories by both authors.
Quote
“Still, he wasn’t a bad man. He was simply incapable of caring for himself or any other human being. She couldn’t hold that against him. Could she? I do. I think I do. I’m sorry.”
