Capybara Spa is a simple point and click game where you build a hillside capybara spa. You gradually build up your spa area, clearing out grass and building baths, plants, and other bath items. You unlock more items as you go along with additional visitors like ducks and otters. The art is very cute and similar in style of Cozy Bee’s other game, Lemon Cake.
This game is very cozy and can be a nice little time waster when you’re between games. It’s not very demanding or difficult and provides you with a lot of freedom to decorate how you see fit. Achievements are easy to get, just a bit of a grind. There are upgrades later to add bugs to your spa garden that help with fulfilling the capybara’s requests. These upgrades while helpful for getting the spa running smoothly, I also found that they sometimes bugged a node where it was unclickable and wouldn’t spawn an item, and I’d have to restart my game which was very annoying.
Overall it’s a cute game that will appeal to cozy gamers. I can see this one being really enjoyable for kids as well. It’s not anything all that deep or complex but it’s nice for what it is.
