Review
Pack my LunchBox is a simple puzzle game where you pack a lunch box. The title tells you everything you need to know. The visual design is great, it’s very cute with delicious looking food that made me hungry.
It’s easy to pick up and play a bit but nothing to invest that much time into. You can easily complete all 50 levels and earn every achievement in under an hour. There’s an endless mode for those that want to keep playing after completing all levels. A DLC will be released in a few days that will add 70 additional levels and tons of new food and I think it’s nice that the developers are still adding more to the game.
It’s worth noting that there is a bug with one of the achievements to pack your first lunchbox. I was able to obtain it after restarting level 1 a few times. The developers are aware of the bug and are working on fixing it.
I knew what I was getting into when I picked this game up and it met my expectations. Overall it’s not bad, but nothing revolutionary and a game I would easily classify as shovelware. It’ll appeal to folks that like sorting games to relieve stress and is one of dozens like this.
