This manga was honestly a mess and not in any redeemable way. It’s a smut manga aimed at a female audience for sure, with the types of characters and drama that you’d expect in a regular shojo romance only… Sex crazed and stupid.
I’m no prude but this was really trashy. The story follows a high school girl named Ako, and the boy next door that she’s been having sex with since childhood, Eisuke. Their relationship is mostly physical, they have very little interaction with each other that doesn’t involve sex or insults. Ako naturally wants to experience love and a relationship like any high school girl would, and she gets the chance when her co-worker crush asks her out.
Eisuke of course is pushy, continues to treat her like an sex object, and body shames her. Everything about their dynamic is toxic, and of course Ako was just so dickmatized that she couldn’t help but keep having sex with Eisuke, despite her protestations, while still going on dates with her boyfriend. It is melodramatic as all get out with no real romance. Eisuke is exactly the type of guy no girl should ever date.
I first read this over a decade ago and couldn’t remember a thing about it, so I decided to re-read it. Now I know why it was so forgettable.
