Review

The tooth fairy of today is an iconic childhood figure passed on from generation to generation all across the globe. It’s a time honored tradition that makes the prospect of losing teeth less scary for children, passing it on to my own children has been a joy. With time, however, some earlier superstition about the tooth fairy have faded from the public consciousness. The Come For Us At Night drags some of those old superstitions back from the dark ages screaming into the present day.

I really enjoyed the creativity of this story, it was as fascinating as it was creepy, an absolute nightmare for both children and parents. The epilogue gives a taste of the origins of the tooth fairy and the inclusion of this chapter made me wish this was a longer book. Overall a great read and easy recommendation for readers that like dark fairy tales.

About Asia Brito Guerrero

Asia Brito Guerrero is an eccentric, chaotic mess of a person who has written spooky stories all her life — most of which are created from personal experience mixed together with a deranged imagination and unhinged ideas sparked from a lot of sleepless nights.

Asia currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband where they’re raising their two feral children together. She can usually be found on her couch watching Lord of the Rings (extended versions) on repeat with her laptop nearby, drinking too much iced coffee, and eating tacos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
