A were-jaguar stripper faces off with a mysterious serial killer, it was such a zany premise I couldn&#8217;t resist. The Mexican folklore explored in the story was fun, and I was heavily invested in the plot. With a healthy dash of horny romance that had me giggling and kicking my little feet, I flew through the story. I adored the main character Magdalena and couldn&#8217;t help but cheer for her from start to finish. <\/p>\n<p>My only critique is that the story builds up to an exciting final confrontation, with all these wonderful and interesting characters gathered together only to end up being wet paper bags.
