I was also in bed sick for two straight weeks with pneumonia at the start of the month. When I recovered I had a crazy time catching up on all the work I missed and planning for both my children’s birthdays. It has been a wonderful month with family and friends that I very much needed after my bout of illness.

Then I capped off the month with this year’s Scares That Care AuthorCon V! By Sunday I was absolutely exhausted, my knees were swollen, and my legs felt like I had run a marathon. I definitely got my steps in and the workout was good. I seemed to catch a mild cold and extended my vacation one more day to let my body recover. Full recap post coming soon!

Books Hauled

eARCs (Author/Publisher)
♥ Made A Monster by Rob Nelson
♥ The Twitching House by Ben Farthing
♥ The Vines by Matt Micheli

eARCs (NetGalley)
♥ House of Monstrous Women by Daphne Fama
♥ Janitors vs. The Living Dead by Michelle Garza; Melissa Lason
♥ What Kind of Paradise by Janelle Brown

Book Boxes
♥ Hiding Lies by Stephanie Rose (Twisted Retreat)
♥ Hush, My Darling by Leigh Kenny (Twisted Retreat)
♥ The Bog Wife by Kay Chronister (Twisted Retreat)
♥ Welcome to Meadowbrook by Cassandra L.
