I used to have the achievements 100% on Steam until DLC were added, so I thought it might be fun to get caught up. I sunk another 20 hours into the game and failed miserably with achievements, but it was fun to revisit.

I’ve also been playing two games with my husband, and by playing together I mean he has been playing, and I’ve been backseat gaming with him. First is Final Fantasy XIII which is a first time experience for him while I had previously played the game when it was first released. I never beat it, though I watched the ending when my brother beat it years ago. I had made it as far as what is essentially the third act, when the game sets you loose to do side quests – my downfall with every JRPG really. I get so invested in side quests and eventually tire out and never get around to finishing. Oh well!

The second game we’ve been playing is Date Everything, cute and quirky with a crazy amount of voice acting talent. We’re both huge fans of (and maybe a little horny for) Jonah Scott and Ben Starr, so finding them in the game has been a delight.

Lastly, dipped my toes back into Honkai Star Rail. I won a birthday giveaway by a member of a horror book community I’m a member of (Books of Horror) – thank you David Swisher! Also got a few gifts book gifts from my husband, and a surprise gift from the publisher of Filthy Loot, Ira Rat. I had been wanting to purchase some books from Filthy Loot for a while and decided to put in my first order. I ended up accidentally getting a duplicate of one book and missing another, and Ira was so kind as to send me the missing book plus a free one, and let me keep the duplicate.
