\"\"Dead By Daylight<\/strong> is one of those genre defining games that is hard to ignore. Dead by Daylight<\/strong> is a 1-vs-4 survival horror multiplayer games where players take on either the role of killer or survivor. The game was a breakout success on Steam and has inspired several other games that have gone on to gain popularity.<\/p>\n

The game is heavily inspired by classic slashers and has an incredible selection of original and licensed characters to choose from. Starting with king of Halloween Michael Myers on the one year anniversary of the game, other major horror IPs have jumped on board to collaborate. The game features horror film and TV icons such as Freddy Kreuger<\/strong> and Ghost Face<\/strong>, as well as horror titans like Resident Evil<\/strong> and Silent Hill<\/strong>. The best part is that licensed content never overshadows this game’s original killers and survivors, with plenty of interesting characters.<\/p>\n

I’ve been playing the game since it first launched in 2016 and have gotten to personally see the game evolve overtime. On launch the game was riddled with bugs but that didn’t stop the game from gaining a dedicated following. The developers have made significant progress since launch in terms of fixing bugs, rebalancing mechanics, and adding content to keep the game fresh. <\/p>\n

The game is deceptively simple. The gameplay itself is straightforward, but there is definitely a steep skill curve. Like many new players I found the game scary initially, but after gaining confidence I still get plenty of thrills playing bold. The community at times can be toxic, but there are some quality players out there that keep the game fun (and sometimes funny). This game can be a blast (or hell) to play with friends. I love the game, it’s still one of my favorites that I return to every once in a while.<\/p>\n
