Round 3
Do you have any special food diets and/or food allergies?

For me, no particular diet, I tend to eat like a goblin. But I am lactose intolerant and seem to have a sensitivity to tea. It doesn't stop me from eating cheese and drinking tea I just suffer when I do so.

I don't take beef, and I don't touch shark's fin (real shark's fin, that is. Mock is fine!) I haven't touched shark's fin since I was 10 because I saw a documentary? I think? on how shark's fin gets harvested, and I was traumatised for life.

The only food that I'm allergic to is dill seasoning. Outside of that, the only things I have troubles with are spicy foods and though I shouldn't have as much dairy any more, I just can't stop. I do have a few foods where I like the flavor of the food, but I don't like the texture of those items. This would include onions and mushrooms.

I don't have any special diets or allergies to foods... There are foods that I don't like and tend not to eat, such as seafood (with the exception of crab rangoon, but I'm pretty sure that's made with imitation crab). *shrugs*... That's it, really! I'm not a HUGE fan of beef/red meat... Like, I will eat a burger, but wouldn't go for a steak. But I could pretty much live on chicken LOL.

I'm allergic to lots 😩 nuts, molds, yeast, soy are the main hitters but I aim to avoid nuts like the plague because they'll send me to the hospital it's so life-threatening, and then blue cheese makes me sick due to the molding process and penicillium.

I'm also lactose intolerant. I mostly eat beige foods, which is apparently common in autistic people.

so uh, i'm allergic to nuts and didn't even realize until last year. i was sitting there, eating a brownie with walnuts, and i was like "man, i love walnuts, but i hate how they make your mouth go numb, burn the roof of your mouth, and make your mouth taste like blood after a bit" and my friends looked at me and were like "eli that's a nut allergy????" i thought they were just one of those painful foods, like pineapples! i'm also allergic to honeydew, which is unfortunate because i love honeydew. i still eat nuts and honeydew anyway and just suffer for it.

i also have a hard time with repeating meals and leftovers. like for a bit there my housemates got really into making pizza on the grill so they were having build your own pizzas every week, and i had to start cooking my own food for a bit because it just got to be too much. same thing with leftovers; i can't just reheat them, i have to transform them in some way because otherwise it's like "no, you ate that too recently!"

I have the same problem with pineapple, and so do my kids and it drives me nuts because my mother in law will feed them pineapple, then they will ask for it in the store and I have explain we cant eat an whole pineapple collectively as a family. We don't have that problem with canned/cooked pineapple. Apparently heating breaks down the enzyme that chews your mouth raw.

I am on a vegan diet, which isnt a big deal since I've been doing it for so long and I never ate out much even when I wasn't vegan. Luckily I am not allergic to anything so if I accidentally eat something with milk or eggs I know I wont die. And I still will buy some non vegan things for my kids like Poppin Cookin kits. (mostly just that) Thanks have changed so much in the past 10 years, I look back at the stuff I bought at Whole Foods in college and just laugh. I am just so happy that Ben and Jerry's has a vegan ice cream line.

I have no allergies of any kind, nor am I lactose intolerant. I just have a few things I tend to not eat because I've never liked them. Fruit-wise I'll eat apples, but I don't like apple sauce or juice, I've also never been fond of pineapple, coconut, or cantaloupe. On the veggie side, I don't like corn, cucumbers or squash mostly, and carrots I can't stand if they are cooked, doesn't matter how they're cooked unless the seasoning masks the "cooked carrot flavor.. I also hate cooked spinach, but I'll happily eat it raw. Otherwise I'll generally try anything, even if it has something I don't like in it, but if the ingredient I don't like overpowers everything else, it's a turn off.

I actually found out last yearish that I was lactose intolerant!! which explained A LOT. It's been a journey because I always forget I'm lactose intolerant until I'm suffering, but soy milk and almond milk are actually really really tasty and sometimes I can't even tell when I substitute it in. Even then, though, sometimes I look at a wheel of cheese and I'm like "i can suffer for cheddar" which I think is... true for all people lactose intolerant LMAO
