What new-to-you food or dish did you try last?

I last tried an Edward's Chocolate Cream Pie from the frozen section! It sounded good, and I especially wanted the crust, the cream and the frozen chocolate bits. It was suuuper sweet and chocolatey, but I found eating on it a little at a time (one piece circa midnight for "midnight snack" every night until it was gone) was the most appeasing.
time is not linear in my head tbh, i can't remember what was truly the most recent new food i've tried but by far the most memorable recent dish was vietnamese chè (wikipedia article for context). i got four different varieties and the only one i can remember specifically was chè trôi nước, which had a ginger broth and dumplings made of glutinous rice filled with mung beans. they were all really good though! i love that they're like dessert soups, and refreshing, filling, and not to sweet.
I also don't have a linear sense of time! I know I've tried mine before, I just can't remember specifically what new food I've tried. I do have a tendency to forget I've tried something, though XD
I recently tried wet tofu- or fermented tofu (fu ru) I did not like it.... but then again I am sure it didn't help I popped it in my mouth That's like having a spoonful of miso and deciding if you like it or not. haha So I have to try it out by putting only a little in a recipe.
I tried squid a few days ago! I brought my friend to a sushi place and she ordered it as an appetizer. I was surprised it had the little suckers and everything, lol. And it tasted pretty good, but the skin was kind of tough and I could not get over the whole "I'm eating a tentacle" thing. I'd eat it again someday, though!
Recently I tried peppercinis?? I think it is, or banana peppers in my sandwich. I did not know what they were but they were actually very good, especially when doused in the vinegar they put in there too. I normally don't like sandwiches with a little cronch but I found I actually don't mind it so much anymore.
