Review
Jennifer’s Body is a cult classic from the 2000s about a possessed teenage girl that develops a particular taste for high school boys. Jennifer is abducted by a slimy rock band visiting town and comes back changed. Dragged along for the ride is Jennifer’s best friend Needy, who knows something is wrong and sets out to investigate.
I missed this one when it was airing but ended up watching it to see what the hype was about. I enjoyed the film, but felt lukewarm overall. It’s an interesting premise with some satisfying bloody scenes, but I found the film to be a little too campy for my taste, but I understand why it’s well loved.
