Review

Hozy is a decoration sim where you renovate a room into a livable space. You start with cleaning, choosing paint, and unpacking boxes full of furniture and arrange things how you like. The game is straight forward but the presentation is very beautiful. You’re given three color choices for walls and decorate how you see fit. There is usually a lot of furniture which can become a little challenging to arrange and fit everything in the room.

This is another one of those games that shows a snippet of a life through the furniture, from an artist’s retreat to a college student’s first apartment. One of the more satisfying rooms was the musician’s, in which you transform a spooky room into a dazzling space filled with glowing lights. The game is easy to complete and isn’t one that I felt all that driven to complete. It’s one that I go back to once in a while to decorate a room and unwind. This game will appeal to folks that enjoy cozy games and interior design.
