Life and Other Things

This month has not been a great month for me. I had leg surgery at the end of April and I have been in recovery ever since. Let me tell you, I have never appreciated being able to just hop upstairs to take a shower more in my life than now. I managed to read a few things but admittedly I have spent most of my time on the touch exhausted with my leg elevated, trying to sleep off the pain and swelling. I have a long road ahead of me, but my husband has been supportive. It’s been a stressful time for both of us, but we’re managing.

I ended up picking up a bunch of ebooks thanks to HumbleBundle. I have been wanting to check out some older fantasy works and Mercedes Lackey seems interesting! I hope to get to a few of her books later this year.
