Life and Other Things
September has been surprisingly relaxed. I’m finishing out my tenure working remote and am hoping to get back to campus soon. Walking is still quite difficult and I occasionally feel pain in my ankle and on my upper leg where one of my long leg bones was broken, so I know it’ll be quite a while until the bones fully fuse together. My husband’s work has been ramping up and he’s going to be gone quite a bit which has been less desirable but maybe it’ll give me some time to catch up on some reading.
Books Hauled
I was good this month and kept my book buying limited only to my one book box subscription! I’ve got a decent backlog to get through before the Christmas holidays. My backerkit copy of The Fires of December came in today and I’m so excited to get into some fantasy come winter!

I’ve been having a lot of fun playing new video games and enjoying several visual novels, which I hope to continue into October. I’d also like to actually finish a few books next month, but we’ll see!
