Life and Other Things

Guess who went and broke her first bone? This girl! Just when I thought April was going to be a good month for me. Lack of sleep and too many blood thinners caused me to faint while I was walking, and the end result was a broke my leg. In three places, in fact. I had surgery and have been in recovery for the entire month. Suffice to say, this whole ordeal has thrown me way off course, as I’ve been a prisoner to my couch with my leg elevated for weeks. Pain has been high and I’ve been struggling to focus on much of anything, so reading has been almost non-existent. I’m just thankful that with the type of work that I do, I can carry out a lot of tasks remotely. That, and my husband for taking care of me and gifting me a Switch 2 to help me with the boredom.
